Ryan Muar is an educator, performer, and composer from the Tampa Bay Area. Muar has taught guitar, bass, drums, piano, theory, composition, and songwriting at local schools and privately. He received a BM from the University of South Florida for composition, studying with Paul Reller and Dr. Baljinder Sekhon. Muar’s goal as a teacher is to be student centric. This allows each individual student to develop their own voice, while being fully aware of the theory behind what they are playing and the technique to allow them to succeed.
His compositional works have been honored by prominent national organizations, such as New York City’s Vox Novus and the 2013 living void compilation
