Paulina Flores

Paulina Flores- has been performing on flute for over 11 years. She received a Bachelor’s of Music in Music Education from San Diego State University. She studied with Pamela Vliek Martchev (Southern California flutist) while diving in Woodwind, Brass, String, and Percussion pedagogy. Her education included Music Theory, Music History, Composition and Orchestration. During her time at the university, Paulina performed with the SDSU Wind Symphony, Symphonic Band, Concert Band, Marching Band, Chamber Orchestra, and Aztec Concert Choir.
Paulina has spent the last two years as a Music Educator. She worked at the Children’s Creative and Performing Arts Academy teaching AP Music Theory, Beginning Band, Advanced Band, and a Percussion Ensemble during the Spring semester in 2018. Paulina works at America’s Finest Charter School building an after-school music curriculum. She teaches beginning and intermediate students on Flute, Clarinet, Alto Saxophone, Trumpet, Trombone, Percussion and Piano. In addition, she is the Music teacher at Vista Grande Elementary and Marvin Elementary. Her focus is to ensure children from diverse backgrounds receive the highest quality of Music Education
