Natalie Lovejoy is a composer/lyricist, vocalist, and pianist from Annapolis, MD. As a songwriter, her work has been performed in New York at Lincoln Center, 54 Below, and Off-Off Broadway, as well as in L.A. and San Diego. Her musical Deployed was a semi-finalist at the 2016 New York New Works Festival and is currently under development for a national tour. She studied classical voice at the Peabody Conservatory has performed regionally in musicals and vocal competitions in addition to performing as a singer/songwriter. She began studying piano at age six and has worked as an accompanist and music director. Natalie has been teaching music since 2006, most recently at the Bergen Academy of Music and Art in Oradell, NJ. She loves teaching all ages and tries to foster a life-long love of music-making in her students. Education: New York University (Master of Music in Music Theory and Composition), Catholic University (Bachelor of Music in Musical Theater), the BMI Lehman Engel Musical Theatre Workshop, and the Johnny Mercer Musical Theatre Project at Northwestern University.
