Hannah Hafen

Hannah Hafen is a classically trained cellist and pianist. She started cello at the age of three, and began her piano studies at the age of 12. She has received 1st and second place awards in multiple string competitions, and was the featured soloist in the Smith Centers production of Lamb of God. She has subbed for the HSO, toured Germany and Poland, and performed in local rock groups on the strip. She currently studies at UNLV as a cello performance major, under the instruction of Dr. Andrew Smith. She has taught private lessons in both cello and piano for 5 years, and has taught ages from 4-70. As a teacher, she is kind and friendly, and pushes her students to conquer their fears and push themselves to become better! She is great at teaching all ages, and adjusts the teaching curriculum based on the students needs. Her teaching style is fun and engaging, and she always has treats!
