Franco Valeriani

Las Vegas

Born in Newark-NJ starts studying music with his grandfather Giuseppe Valeriani (violinist/conductor). He earned a Bachelor’s in saxophone performance and music-arranging from the National Music Conservatory “San Pietro a Majella” in Napoli (Italy).
Also attended CPM in Milano studying with jazz saxophonist Michael Rosen (from Berklee College of Music – Boston) while touring around the country and performing on Italian tv networks.
In 2003 Franco moved back to the US,
earned a Double Major (Music History & Literature – Romance Languages) from the University of Las Vegas Nevada (UNLV) and a Master’s in Music Education with University of Florida (UFL).
Besides teaching with the Clark County School District and the College of Southern Nevada, Franco currently performs in many venues on the Las Vegas strip (MGM, Aria, Wynn, Cosmopolitan, Rio, etc.) as “The Zephyrus Project”, and “Bricks” (Pink Floyd Tribute Band).
