Dan Del Vecchio
Dan DelVecchio has been studying and playing guitar for 19+ years, and was fortunate enough to take instruction under four very talented individuals – Dennis DelGaudio (Billy Joel/Broadway), Chris Jusino(Broadway), Artie Blaurock, and Rick Stone (Jazz Guitar at Hofstra University). Each of his instructors helped to mold his style of playing, giving him a diverse perspective and sense of style on the instrument.
Performing and writing in various groups on Long Island as well as being a musician for hire/studio work (including playing in the backing band for Robbie Rosen of American Idol) all helped serve as stepping stones for his latest and most accomplished project: FACE THE KING. He has shared the stage with some of the biggest acts in music, including Ed Sheeran, Shawn Mendes, Kings of Leon, Stevie Wonder, Keith Urban, Billy Idol, Jane’s Addiction, Shinedown, Staind, Of Mice And Men, and countless others. His recent success has given him great experience which he shares and applies to teaching his students. Dan enjoys introducing students to the basics of guitar and the significance of practice and persistence. He also helps to develop the students’ ability to utilize their own creativity by allowing them to come up with their own ideas. When a student reaches a comfortable level on guitar, he encourages them to go out and perform in competitions and recitals.
