Alexander Arellano

Alexander Arellano is a graduate of Long Island University Post with a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education. There he studied cello in the studio of Professor Maureen Hynes, as well as studying voice in the studio of Professor Thomas Goodheart. In his time there he actively participated and studied with the LIU Orchestra, String Ensemble, Madrigals, and Chorus and Chamber Singers. On top of performing with various programs, Alex was also one of the co-founders for the LIU Post Cello Ensemble. Alex has participated in the LIU Broadway Musical Act under the direction of Lisa Meyer as well as worked for the LIU Post Chamber Music Festival as the Administrator Assistant to the directors for four years. Additionally he was the baritone soloist in Gustav Mahler’s Songs of a Wayfarer with the North Shore Symphony under the baton of Dr. Susan Deaver.
Alex’s passion is music, and having participated in so many different types of ensembles, and programs in his time, he loves being able to teach and pass on the knowledge he has gained from each of them to his students.
