Adam Baxter comes from a musically inclined family, with his father a music director and his mother a singer. “I personally started out singing in 1985 at the age of five, and then started taking piano lessons at age nine, and saxophone at age ten”, he remembers. He graduated from Friends University in Wichita KS in 2003 with a Bachelor of Arts in Music where he was trained on the saxophone, the bassoon, guitar, bass, didgeridoo, drums, trumpet, trombone, cello, and extended his vocal range to cover up to four octaves. Adam is a performing musician, currently as the lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist for the local Nu-Metal band Without Sacrifice, playing all over DFW and the surrounding region regularly. Adam is one of our many guitar instructors who not only instructs for advanced levels, but can teach beginners from the very start.
