Tigran has been teaching privately for 16 years at Irene’s School of Music, Musicians Depot, Guitar Merchant, Canoga School of Music, Ferrahian High School, and in homes through Takelessons.com. His students have been accepted into some of the most prestigious music schools, like Thornton and Berkeley.
Tigran began playing with the Armenian Youth Symphony Orchestra, and has played with the Glendale Philharmonic Orchestra, San Fernando Valley Symphony Orchestra, as well as many string quartets and solo performances.
Tigran received a Masters Degree in Performing Arts from The Komitas State Conservatory in Yerevan, Armenia.
Robert has been teaching and transcribing for over 30 years. Robert’s unique style of transcribing and teaching music has earned him accolades from artists like Travis Barker, John Otto (Limp Bizkit), Howie Mandel, Rick Springfield, and Ryan Yerdan (Puddle of Mud). He’s helped over 1,000 students over the coarse of his career.
Josh has been teaching music for 17 years. He plays often in both an original and a cover band. He’s performed in funk, rock, country, jazz, prog, and metal bands. He’s toured from Montreal to Orlando, from the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland to the Roxy Theater in Hollywood. Three songs he’s written were used in the soundtracks of two Lions Gate Feature Films.
Josh earned a Bachelor’s of Music in Education from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where he was the principal guitarist for the UAB Jazz Ensemble, performed with the UAB Guitar Ensemble, and performed numerous classical recitals. He’s certified to teach music K-12 in Alabama’s Public School System.
Josh has taught privately at a variety of schools all over the country. He’s also directed bands and choirs, and is a member of MENSA, the high IQ society.
John has been teaching music for 35 years. He’s been a professional gigging musician and a band director for his entire career. He’s taught at Turning Point School, Thatcher School, and the Getzen Company as a private instructor, orchestra director, and a jazz/rock band director. He continues to direct bands in and around Santa Clarita.
John’s worked as a lead trumpet for Carnival Cruiselines and played for the Mormon Choir. He’s been asked to play various events, including Jackson Brown’s Academy Awards Afterparty, and even performed with the Smashing Pumpkins.
John carries a Bachelor’s Degree from California State University, Northridge in Music Education. He’s completed the Los Angeles Jazz Workshop, and played for the Los Angeles Junior Philharmonic Orchestra.
Chris has been teaching for the last 35 years. In addition to consistently teaching private lessons, Chris has also taught in the continuing education programs of both Florida State University and Baldwin Wallace College.
Chris studied classical guitar with Bruce Holzman at Florida State University and Loris Chobanian at Baldwin Wallace College in Cleveland. He’s currently completing a degree in Film Scoring at the University of California, Northridge.
