Paul Snyder – Electric Bass/Upright Bass
Paul started his musical journey in high school in 1975 in Chicago, Illinois. After graduating high school, Paul was a member of the College of DuPage Jazz Ensemble and Symphony Orchestra. During that time, he also played professionally in clubs and hotels all over the Chicago area. In 1981, Paul received his Associates degree in Music and moved to California to further pursue his music career, but had great difficulty finding steady work. In 1983, he took a short break from music to start a career in Broadband Cable Engineering. In 1992, Paul moved to Las Vegas and began playing music once again, playing with numerous casino groups and played bass for the Southern Nevada Community College Jazz Band. In 2002, Paul landed a gig playing bass for 50s group “The Drifters” featuring Bobby Rufin. After the Drifters, he played with different club bands around town including Rockcicle, Cover Up, and The Sixties Sensation.
Currently, Paul is a full-time corporate trainer and continues to play round town as a substitute musician. He is also a member of the UNLV Community Orchestra.
