Paola’s passion for music and education began early in childhood at the age of eight when she was first introduced to the piano. Throughout high school she concentrated on her music studies by focusing and perfecting her piano skills through music classes and participation in school talent contests, concerts, and school related competitions. She attended college in her home country of Argentina and received a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education, with a concentration in Piano from River Plate Adventist University (Universidad Adventista del Plata) in Villa Libertador San Martin, Entre Rios.
While pursuing her bachelor’s degree, she was actively involved as a pianist for various choirs including, her university campus church choir, and primary school choir competitions, as well as tutored several piano students at the local area junior high school. She also took master-classes from pianist, Ivan Citera.
With her experiences and education, intertwined with her innate creativity and resourcefulness, Paola’s ambition and focus as a music teacher is the desire to develop her students’ interest and skills in the wonderful fine art of music. She intends to accomplish this by teaching piano and providing insight and background into music theory, history, and sight-reading. She is currently the pianist for her church choir at Richmond Brazilian SDA Church.
