Nancy Durling

Nancy Durling – Always interested in music, Nancy Durling began playing French horn in middle school. She performed in several school and community bands and orchestras through college and decided to pursue a career as a music teacher. She received her Bachelor of Music Education from Stetson University and her Master of Music from East Carolina University. Nancy has taught band and general music for sixteen years in the public schools of Florida and North Carolina. She received her National Board Certification in Early and Middle Childhood Music. Nancy has pursued further education in music’s effect on the brain, early childhood development and students with special needs.
