Mojgan Misaghi has been playing and studying classical music for 12 years. She began private violin lessons as a child in her hometown in Iran and studied violin performance at Art Conservatory. Her skills developed quickly leading her to a membership in the Tehran Junior String Orchestra at the age of 14.
Mojgan eventually moved to Austria and studied violin performance at the Vienna Conservatory under the tutelage of noted violin master Prof. Konstantin Weitz. She moved to Dallas in 2016 and began teaching students violin, viola and music theory.
Mojgan is able to teach students of all ages, whether they are complete beginners new to the instrument or more experienced musicians striving to take their playing to the next level. Her goal is to empower each student to explore their instrument’s personality and nurture and develop their performance skills.
