Michael has performed and taught music for more than 30 years. He began studying flute at Peabody Institute of Johns Hopkins where he studied classical music. He later enrolled in Berklee College of Music where he added saxophone and keyboards to his repertoire. He has toured with and opened for various national acts, including Chaka Khan, James Brown, Patti LeBelle, Yellowjackets, The Rippingtons, Chick Corea and many others. He plays and teaches Alto, Tenor and Soprano Saxophones, Flute, Piccolo and EWI. Let him show you how to practice, how to understand theory, harmony, improvisation, ear training and how to make your own music.
