Richmond

Maurice “Mac” Cridlin is a veteran studio and touring bass player who has recorded with such diverse artists as Patti LaBelle, John Lee Hooker, Glenn Campbell, Elvin Bishop, The Dillards and John Hammond.

Originally from Maryland, he lived and worked in California for over thirty five years – mostly in in Los Angeles as a studio musician – and can be heard on a number of hit recordings and movies. After moving back to the East Coast, Mac spent almost five years touring with friend and guitar wiz, Bill Kirchen. He currently makes his home in Richmond, VA.

Maurice is grateful to the wonderful folks at the Sam Ash Learning Center for the opportunity to realize a timely goal: to pass along a lifetime of real-world professional experience and the life-enhancing gift of music.
