Marisol received her bachelors degree in violin and string performance from SUNY Fredonia’s School of Music and is finishing her masters in Music Ed from LIU Post. In college, Marisol was principal second violin for two seasons, including a performance with Yo-Yo Ma, and regularly with the chamber string orchestra.
Marisol has taught Violin, Viola and piano for many years. As a teacher, Marisol specializes in classical music and technique. She is proficient in music education methods such as Suzuki for string players and young children.
As a performer, Marisol completed four tours around south-east Asia, central Asia, Eastern Europe, and the Middle East. When she was 16, Marisol was invited to perform with the Metropolitan Opera for two seasons of La Traviata and Carmen.
