Kyle Tuttle

Kyle is a Berklee College of Music alum and placed 2nd in the MerleFest banjo contest in 2012. He has performed at Bonnaroo, Joe Val Bluegrass Festival, Ossipee Valley Festival, and the International Bluegrass Music Association (IBMA) Conference.

At age 17 he was given a banjo, and that quickly became his focus. After spending several years playing in local Bluegrass groups in Athens, Georgia and then Santa Fe, New Mexico, Kyle moved to Boston to attend Berklee. While at school he studied with Bela Fleck, Tony Trischka, Alan Munde, Noam Pikelny, John McGann and many other top players in their field. Kyle is also very well studied in the style of Earl Scruggs and Bill Monroe’s music.
