Jose Mena

Jose started playing the piano at a very young age, but switched to guitar at age 13, since then he has dedicated countless hours in developing an accurate technique to develop speed and precision in the electric guitar. He was able to master and control his technique and is now a prestigious guitar player with great talent. He played lead guitar with a few bands that were locally successful in his hometown’s heavy metal scene (Guayaquil-Ecuador). After moving to the United states he got a degree from Florida International University as an electrical Engineer and formed a original band with his brother called MenO. He is actively involved in other musical projects outside of that as well. Jose has his own solo project where he writes guitar driven original music. His main influences are Slash, John Petrucci, Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, Yngwie Malmsteen. He has taught private guitar lessons to already seasoned guitar players that wish to improve their accuracy and technique.
