Las Vegas

Genevieve Dew started singing with the St. Louis Symphony at age 17. She started working with artists such as Stevie Wonder, Nancy Wilson and Johnny Hammond who were her mentors in learning jazz vocal technique. She performed singing engagements at various hotels and jazz bands in Los Angeles, headlined and produced shows at The Orleans Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas and  performed with jazz trios and quartets at most of the prestigious Hotels on the Las Vegas’ strip, along with the Stirling Club at Turnberry Place.  She  performed and was featured with different  headliners in the Las Vegas Hotels and headlined herself at various hotels on the strip such as Orleans, Sam’s Town, Sun Coast, Rio, Sahara,  Hilton, Bellagio, along with  summer concerts at Lake Las Vegas, Anthem and other outdoor venues.  She has traveled extensively performing in different countries from Europe to Australia from the Middle East to Asia.  She’s performed with the electric jazz violinist Michael Ward, several Big Bands, Grammy nominee Larry White, the Great Andre Bocelli, the one and only Neil Diamond and the high light of her career has been to perform with the world renown Michele LeGrand.  Her first CD, “Class”, a diverse representation of singing styles which includes jazz, Broadway, country, gospel and opera, has been popularized all over the country and internationally.   Her next CD will be released in later 2011. She is currently producing and performing a one woman show, “Tribute to Billie Holiday” and headlining at the Sun Coast Casino and Sam’s Town.  August, 2011 just finished a cd for Japan called “From Las Vegas with Love”.
