Daniel Pereira

Daniel Marques is a unique artist with many talents. He began playing piano at the age of 4 years old, picked up the guitar 15 years ago and hasn’t looked back. A writer of original music, Daniel Marques has performed in venues coast to coast and founded the French hip-hop world music band: Defoncè. He has recorded with Infamous (producer Lil’ Wayne: Carter IV),Daniel Rene (former Menudo member, Latin Grammy nominee and wrote for Beyoncé and Rihanna) and many others.

Daniel Marques is a singer/songwriter, electric/acoustic guitar and 5 string bass player who has been performing professionally since the age of 16. Daniel plays most any style of music mainly influenced by neo-soul, jazz, R&B, gospel, reggae, pop, and rock. Daniel believes that adaptation to any style is one of the most important attributes of any musician. In addition to music, Daniel holds black belts in two martial art systems, volunteers in his community, and performs for churches.
