Blaze began his professional music career in Las Vegas, Nevada. While living there he began studying intently the guitar solos of rock guitar legends such as Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, and Jimmy Page. Blaze was a founding member of “The Toyz”, a popular Top 40 band, a group recently inducted into the Las Vegas Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. After moving to the Big Island of Hawaii, he went on to play in a string of successful working bands including “Jailbait”, “Surf Babyz”, “Sibling Rivalry”, and “After Hours”. He then became lead guitarist for “Motion Picture”, Kailua-Kona, Hawaii’s premiere classic rock band. Blaze then moved back to Las Vegas where he spent a year teaching both piano and guitar at Desert Music. After relocating to Los Angeles, Blaze enrolled at Citrus College where he earned an Associate Degree in Recording Technology. Blaze teaches keyboards and guitar to students that range from beginner to advanced.
