Amanda has been teaching piano and vocals for the past three years. She has been singing since she was 7 years of age due to her inspiration from Kelly Clarkson. She is incredibly passionate about singing and playing and loves to share her passion with her students. Amanda attended NYSSMA for piano, vocals, and violin, and achieved two perfect scores on the piano. She has also participated in SCHMEA for vocals and performed in four of her high school musicals including Guys and Dolls, Les Miserables, Bye Bye Birdie, and Hello Dolly, along with participating in the women’s choir acapella group. Throughout her college career at Suffolk Community College, she was involved in another acapella group. Amanda says, “I strongly believe that music should be a fundamental part of education and should be enjoyed by all, not just something to be perfected necessarily”. She encourages her students to do their best and practice everyday!
